Stella has to get surgery. Usually Abby sings her a song but Abby is dead so Will sang the song to her. Stella says that she loves him because of that. Will is by favorite character because he is very kind and devoted to Stella. He watched all of her YouTube videos and learned the song that Abby sang.

Stella and will have fallen in love. Stella is also getting new lungs. A connection is that in our world lots of people fall in love. They want to kiss the person or stay with them, but they aren’t able to. That is like Will and Stella.

Poe, Stella’s best friend, has just died. Will went on 2 dates with Stella and that were both successful. the most significant word is apart because the title of the book is 5 feet apart. It is about 2 CFers and they must stay at least 6 feet apart from each other at all times. Even if they are in love and want to hug each other through though times, they can’t because they will catch each other’s disease and die.

Will believes that they are breathing barrowed air and Stella disagrees. The title fits the big event in the story very well. It fits the distance that they have to keep which is key to the story.

Stella and Will like each other. They take their treatments together and FaceTime with each other. So far, the book has been pretty good. I think that Stella and Will will later show a different feeling for each other. They will like similar stuff and get to know each other better.
