This book really bothers me. The main character is a drug addict and the story backdrop is a futuristic USA that makes friends with the Islamic terrorist group responsible for 9/11 (more than half of the population empathizes with the terrorist). There is no way our country would forget or encourage radical responses and the murder of innocent people.
