this book was very well thought out by the author and she clearly put a lot of time developing the characters and the world they live in. I loved the main protagonist because I think she is fierce and smart to be able to survive in the world se lives in. I can't wait to read other books by this author.

There was a couple of major plot twists that I did not expect. The characters grow as they fight through the apocalyptic type world they live in now. As the world comes closer to the end, people band together which means you meet new characters. I find everything happening in this book very interesting.

This book was difficult to understand at first because it is from the perspective of someone who has already experienced the whole story and it starting from the beggining and adds little details you don't quite get.
