I am having trouble getting through this book. It is not an easy read, and I feel like I am learning MUCH more about the psychedelic experience by reading other books. In looking from our historical perspective, this book seems naive and childlike. If I shift my perspective, and read it as a historical document, I might find that I am more easily able to make some reading progress with this work.
