I really like how it keeps showing the story in different characters perspectives although it also sometimes makes it harder to follow along.

“Despite the sun and the cows and the hills and the wriggling black-faced lamb, she buried her hand in Rus’ fur, steeling herself for her answer.” I used this quote because I like the descriptive word “wriggling” and also the word “steeling”

“The smells were different too— earth and grass, flowers and milk”
I thought this quote was a very good metaphors that helped show the setting.

The book is in a very unstable place and all of the characters are acting strangely

Finn almost just died and Petey is mad at Finn

Ross just killed someone because she was protecting herself.

I think Sean might be the person who “took” Roza but this also might be a very bad guess.

I have no idea what is going on. The author is writing in perspective of like 8 people and I cannot follow the story.
