Only a couple of chapters in and enjoying the book, which is enlightening a period of history of which I know woefully little. Asbridge has an authoritative and easy to read style. But, after seeing the Jack Reacher film, I have been sidetracked by my first Lee Childs book - making swift progress with that so will be back to the 12th century soon
