“&” by Lisa Mangum - Lucy’s bold self she found almost made me uncomfortable, but that was because I’m naturally not very bold at all; in social situations I can be quite timid, really. But I appreciated that she stood for what she wanted, and she was able to get it because of her gumption. Plus, Jesse sounded hot. Phew!

Firsts and Lasts by Annette Lyon - this one squeezed my heart. Making it in NYC as an actor or musician must be difficult, and this story was centered around it. Though the story didn’t end quite how I wanted it to, it was still lovely.

A Taste of Sun by Heather B. Moore - I just realized I have no idea why the story has that title... Anyway, it was a sweet story! Meeting because of the heroine’s aunt, falling in love and sharing their love of art... yes, it was good!

Job Hazards by Janette Rallison - Janette has this amazing ability to write stories that have kind of wacky or crazy situations in them, but makes them feel totally plausible. How does she do that?! She has some serious magical powers. And I love it. A lot.
