everyone is now stuck in the maze because someone accidentally burned the maps to get them out of the maze. thomas thinks that if they stay any longer a Griever will kill one of them every night. Teresa thinks that there is a pattern in the maze that can get them out of there before they all die.

they are trying to leave into the maze so now everyone is trying to study the maps and Alby volunteers to be the one in charge of studying the map of the maze. they are also sending people into the maze for a night to understand how it works even tho that there are Grievers right outside the maze waiting for them.

So far they have gone into the maze and they got attacked many times and they lost some very good friend. one of there friends they had to kill because he was attacking people. another friend they had to leave inside the maze because they wear getting chased and if they didn't close the gate they would all have died.

Thomas has just met all these people in this weird place that he has to survive in order to leave. it is also the end of the world and those are the only people that survived. he also doesn't remember anything that happened to him before.
