Chapter 5 takes a break from bodyslams and punches to what its like outside when Meguru isnt in the gym. In a way, it is very realistic to dedicated martial artists in that they isolate themselves because no one else would understand or care what they do in the gym.

Volume 1 of All Rounder Meguru realistically goes into what first learning a martial art feels like, while still being realistic. To the bits where you first obsess over it to when you start to abuse it out of the MMA gym, to all the homo erotic and awkward grappling.
