You see this world Mr. Peter V. Brett has created? It’s so ripe for many stories to be told, I swear. That’s why I’m not even gutted that I have to sit through Jardir’s backstory before I eventually get back to Arlen. I’m enjoying learning how Jardir became the man that left Arlen for dead in the first book. The chapters and scene breaks also makes this a dream book to read in short bursts or long sessions.
