This is a really easy read and that is the reason I like and don't love it. It is the basic YA inner struggle story about the teen who has never known about his secret powers because some member of his family has been able to keep it a secret despite all rational odds, until one day. . . I like the book, I just wish the author would have not been so conventional in sticking to this genre's script.
