Judy Grahn has had an incredible life, that's for sure. I am totally jealous.
I do think it's pretty simplistic of her to imply that she and her peers were able to live that sort of life simply because they established their own gift-economy. It feels like an implied criticism of today's queer feminists for failing to value each other enough, but in fact the social landscape of the time was radically different.

This book is fantastic. Comparable to Sister Outsider. Highly recommend.
