interesting,especially if you know the history of brittain's rise, and post-ww2 decline. seems almost like the author was able to take a few peeks into the future.obviously a big what-if, if the thinly veiled germans had won either/both of the world wars... just wish it wasn't so victorian/edwardian in its tone and language - that really drags some of the descriptions out beyond what's needed.
