Jesse goes to inspect the hotel room of the second victim and finds absolutely nothing. Then, couple days later, a third murder happens, and they have yet to solve the first and second murder cases. They now know that all three are connected, and they must increase security all around town.

Jesse and Lee noticed a bunch of ski tracks on the snow below them as they rod the gondola. They also noticed that the hill groomer was going to flatten all of their evidence, and since Lee forgot her phone, they couldn't stop the groomer. They had lost all their evidence.

Jesse and Lee notice some unusual fibers at the scene of the crime. They also noticed that the paint on one of the doors was gouged off. Jesse theorized that the doors were shut with a rope, and that the mysterious fibers came from it.

Jesse and Lee investigate the second murder after the gondola car in which it took place was disconnected from the line to continue the flow. Jesse told other police officers to get on the scene, but what he didn't tell them was that there was a second murder.

The man who had discovered the original murder was working his shift at the the ski lodge when he discovered another person murdered in a similar fashion. When Jess and Lee tried to talk to him, he was too shaken up to talk.

Jesse and Lee talk to the police chief about the married couple who had split up six years ago. As it turns out they were still good friends, so that made it impossible for either of them to have done the murder.

The man who was murdered possibly tried to leave clues for the police to help figure out what happened. His skis were left in the snow and were one of the most useful clues.

Lee talks about how she doesn't prefer the current handguns. She said that she prefers the older revolvers, so thats what she uses.
