Alex Rider has many important characters traits, one of them being that he’s courageous. This is an important trait because it causes him to make the crazy choices that he makes, that other people wouldn’t, that either gets him killed or saves the day. Another important trait that he has is sympathy. This is also important because he always willing to give people a second chance even if they didn’t deserve it.

In the book Alex Rider Snakehead, one thing I am curious about is at the beginning of the book. In previous books, the author starts with something that either foreshadows, or is a flashback to something we find out later and is more meaningful. The author has already written the event, so I am curious to which one it will be.

The inciting incident in Alex Rider Sneakhead, happens the day before he leaves back to Europe. Instead of getting rest before the flight in the morning, he goes to a barbecue. Alex find out after nearly dying that it is surround by a mine field. This is the inciting incident because now Alex needs to find out how placed the mines, and their intentions behind it, which will end up developing the story.
