Nick and Detective Marshall have the two most courageous personalities out of all the characters in the book. These two characters have the bravery to try and find a missing teacher that nobody liked. They try to find her because they know it is the right thing to do.

This means that their personalities have bravery, along with courage. They want to try and find the lost teacher because they know it’s the right thing to do.

In Scat, I’m curious about how the teacher disappeared. I’m curious about this because why would she disspaear, HOW did she disappear, and how are they going to find her. When people dissapear, it’s drawn to people as a mystery. The author did a good job with starting the book with this mystery.

I’m reading Scat by Carl Hiassen. If I were to choose what the inciting incident was probably when all the children went on the field trip in the Everglades and when the teacher went missing. After the teacher went missing, then it started to get interesting.
