I really want to get behind the romance and their interactions are cute but I can't get passed how Rasha was enslaved by Adriana's family who are colonizers. I can't ignore it, I wish it wasn't there. Why couldn't they have racial diversity without a white colonization backstory? Why couldn't Rasha be a servant and not a slave? The power dynamic would still be bad but it wouldn't be THIS BAD!

The pov switches so often and everything is happening so quickly, I feel so lost :'(
