Honestly, Faradan Sort, the marines would be arrogant with or without an officer. Just ask the Bridgeburners(Not Fiddler though. He's amazing). Beak's right. They know a lot more than you think. Not like Beak though. :)

I'd like to state for the record that Malazan rekindled my love for the Suikoden series(especially 2). Has to do with Redmask, so it's been going on for awhile. When I picture Redmask, I picture this guy: https://suikoden.fandom.com/wiki/Clant (One of my favorites in the series. He is a fascinating character, despite being so minor.

Let me just state for the record(in case you didn't know) that I absolutely LOVE Tehol Beddict and Bugg. Loved Tehol's speech. SPOT ON! Can't wait for the Malazans to wreck a lot of Lether though. I'm actually thinking that Tavore had to have known that the Letherii would only see them as invaders. How could you not? How could anyone not? And as for Rhulad...uh...yikes. What a mess.
