Sooooo I didn't finish this before my book club tonight but man, the last few chapters that included info on how the plastic industry lobby (ACC) works and weaves deception is so similar to tobacco companies.... scary and frustrating.

I've already learned quite a bit about how plastic pollution is detected and measured... and how much it has increased. Scary. So far, the writing seems quite disjointed, however. Each paragraph is just fine but it's hard to follow the meandering overall trajectory of a chapter.
