Whoa! Loving Tyrese so far, and Carl just got shot. Whoa! That town they were in was creepy! I love the quick pace of the books. Keeps me going.

So excited! Just met up with Tyreese. Can't wait to get to know him...

Crazy! Shane went nuts so much quicker in the book. The fights between him and Rick are nuts, but I love it! So good!

Sweet! Carl just made his first zombie kill when his mom couldn't get it together. I was shocked it happened for him so early on, but it makes sense...

Oooh, so excited! Just found out Dale, Amy and Andrea's background of what they did before the outbreak, and how they all wound up together. Really liking Dale's sense of humor in this... A few great lines scattered about. Nice.

Today's bite size portion of zombie reading comes to you from my table at lunch time. Hmm... Love the grocery cart idea for weapons. Kind of wish they'd done that in the show. The visual was cool with zombies watching Glenn and Rick.

It's slow going, because mostly I read in bed, late at night with my iPhone, and I have the phone book paperback version of this book, so instead I read it while I'm eating breakfast and lunch, but I'm still loving it. I just got to the part that would've been the show titled, "Guts." I liked their explanation for why they could speak and it wouldn't bother the zombies. Opposite from the show, but very intriguing.

This time I'm updating from my laptop. Sheesh! Okay--the compendium. Great breakfast read; goes well with my scrambled eggs. I have to say I love how it moves right along. Even when learning about their backgrounds when they're doing mundane chores, something always happens to further their progress in this world, so I never get bored. Good stuff!

I'm guessing on the page number since the pages don't actually have the number on them. I'm a recent fan of the show, and had to get the books to tide me over until February, when season 3 resumes. Already loving seeing Dale, Carol, Sophia, Jim, Andrea, Amy, and being introduced to new people: Donna, Allen and their twins. So far so good. Some of the artwork is breathtaking.
