I originally thought this book might take me a bit to read due to how it started and seemed confusing, but less then 50 pages in, I quickly caught on to the amazing writing style and language that N.K. Jemisin uses and now I am hooked! I take this book every where I go so that I can read it when I have any time. I am excited to see where the rest of this trilogy goes
