hannah shows up to the party and finds clay she explains how the only reason she was that party was because of clay. they grabbed a cup of beer and walked to the couch and did nothing but talk.

hannah goes on about how she heard about a party that was coming up and how she heard that clay was going,so she waited for her parents to fall asleep in order for her to sneak out. she explains how walking to that party she felt the loneliness in the air something didn't feel right.

tony stops clay and asks him to get in his car then makes clay listen to the next tape because he claims it was really important. he finally plays the tape and goes on about how clay doesn't deserve to be part of that list but is she's going to tell her side of the story he has to bring up what happened that night with her and clay. clay begins to get a little frustrated with the tap...

ryan steals Hannah poem who he once called it a scary poem and turn it in anonymously , the teacher later says reading an anonymous poem is like reading a dead person poem because they cant quite break it down and understand what the poet was trying to say

hannah writes a poem about love and explains how she writes down in her notebook her creative ideas.it also talks about how clay knew about Hannahs bad reputation and how much it scared him...

hannah wrote an anonymous suicide note and left it on the teachers desk i believed but she thought they wouldve done something like this for attention hannah wouldve wanted to have at least a discussion about why you shouldnt kill yourself but the teacher didnt. instead they passed out a flyer about suicide but that wasnt really much for hannah. she wanted to be stopped or have someone tell her not to kill herself..

hannah then thinks of a "plan" to catch zach in action meaning she wanted to see if itwas actually true what he was doing. so she wrote herself a note she taped her note to the bottom of her paper bag and waited for him to come by to take her note, and so she waited and sure enough after class he walked up to her bag and took her note and kinda made a scene ,she explains how he didnt even have an explanation for her.

shortly after marcus leaves zach goes up to hannah and asks her if she was okay, for a second hannah starts to think that zach is just trying to ask her out because she was alone. after about a week she starts to notice that she doesnt receive any notes.

hannah continues to talk about how she just stayed at the ice cream shop and staring at her empty cup, she explains how she didn't want anyone to pick up the class cup because it gave her a reason to stay at the stop. she talks about how her eyes tear up.

Clay sit in a booth at a restaurant when suddenly him mom shows up he continues to lie to her about how he’s out late working on a school project. Then Hannah jumps to bragging about how great peer communication was and how everyone had so much respect for the teacher.
