I have just started the book, so I don’t really know how I feel about it, but I think the concept seems cool. It’s a historical murder mystery written kind of like a novel, and it does a good job of world building and science setting. So far it has talked about the plague of yellow fever in the closing months of the 18th century as well as introducing the idea of the murder.

Since last week, they arrested a suspect and the trial has begun. Only a little evidence has been presented so far, so it is unclear whether or not Levi Weeks is guilty or not, but it has captured my attention. He has Hamilton, Burr, and Livingston on his defense, so he probably has a pretty good chance

The book is quite interesting. Since last time it has introduced all of the relevant characters and established the time period through detailed descriptions of New York City. They found the body of the girl who was murdered and put a suspect behind bars, and now Hamilton and Burr have to defend the man against prosecution. The city is very unforgiving however, so it will be difficult.
