Very, very tempted not to finish this but I'm almost halfway done. My opinion of the main character hasn't changed... super annoying! Now why does her boss find her captivating?!?

I wanted to try a mystery-thriller for a change and I must admit, it's quite a struggle to get through this story. Took it almost 40% for the story to pick-up (or is it?).
