Grr...just when things we're finally happening, a mob of filthy, angry prisoners have to storm in and ruin it. What? I should be more afraid for Damon's safety than disappointed that they didn't have sex? Oops. Well, it's a romance, so I know he ain't gonna die. ;-D

"There is no good in me," he ground out with such fury that her eyes widened and she leaned backward, paling.

There isn't, he thought savagely, releasing her from his gaze and angrily turning the page. The very idea that there was made him feel uneasy, defenseless, afraid.

Poor Damon, hiding behind his protective shell of wickedness and intimidation. :-(

There are FAR too many POV's in this story. I don't know if I can keep up. O_O

Enjoying this so far, but hoping we don't have to hear about the Hero's unusual color eyes in every single chapter. That and how malevolent his eyes/face/expression is. OMG, I think that word was used 4 times in a single chapter. Thesaurus anyone? ;-) But, despite the malevolent eyes, lol, I like this so far.

I love Gwyneth. She's a little spitfire. ;-)

Poor Damon. :-( I love him already, poor, sad, abused little boy whose about to grow up and become a hardened, tortured hero.
