I predict that Atticus will win the court case. One reason is he has strong supporting evidence. For example, the idea of the left hand. This is were the defendant Tom Robinson doesn’t have a left hand that works. This means it would have been harder for him to hurt her. Another reason is his closing part was very strong. It talked about Thomas Jefferson and how all men are equal so don’t decide because of his race.

The setting in this book is in a town called Maycomb. Maycomb is an old tired town. Maycomb has boundaries that people can not pass. It is a small town. It has churches, courthouse bakery, post office, county toilet and many more. They dont use phone. Or electronic devices because this story takes place in the 1930’s. Because it was in the 1930s there was a lot of segregation like black churches and other things.
