In the book, Harry encountered Voldemort when he claimed the TriWizard Cup. The message from this book is trust your instincts because Harry instinctively didn’t want to get the cup. When he did, he got into a fight with Voldemort, Cedric Diggory got killed, and he barely escaped.

In the novel, Harry has just arrived at the Quidditch world cup. In my opinion, i think that something bad is going to happen because usually some ground-breaking event is near the beginning of the previous Harry Potter books.
