In my book I can see many archetypes. One of the archetypes is voyage. It is a voyage because ellery is trying to uncover the dark past of this town with the help of her brother. Also, I think that this book has rebirth. Ellery’s mom has changed since she was last in echo ridge, and she is trying to tell her kids what actually happened to the people that died I’m echo ridge.

I can relate this book to myself because of the main character starting at a new school. I felt this when I came to MBMS. She is trying to make friends in a new school. I can relate this to my friend who came from another state and had to make new friends.
