Malcolm is handling the pressure from his peers very well. However, he did fall into the pressure when he got a tattoo at a party because everyone else was even though he was underage. Hopefully Malcolm learned a lesson from this.

I like how the author includes the mood of the fans and the atmosphere at the final four and he includes what the commentators said. I like this because it makes you feel like you are there or watching it.

I don't understand how all of the players can be so good when they have had really tough home lives.

I really like how the author developed the character so far, from a person living a life in a rough area to being a great guy and a hero on the Michigan State basketball team.

I like how the author uses different techniques to build up your anxiety to find out what happens next. The author also is very good at writing in a way that makes you want to keep reading.

I really like how the author interviews Malcolm to find out what is real thoughts are throughout the book. The main thing that he is interviewed about is loosing his sister to gun violence.

It is sad that Malcolm has lost so many people close to him to gun violence in his community and that he has a dad that he rarely ever sees.

I like this book so far. I enjoy the part about how the author incorporates many journal entries of this basketball player and details how he grew up, which gives you good understanding of what's happening.
