I wanna mark this moment in the book by saying... I am FINALLY, truly, interested....at least for now. It only took 300 pages. Wow. We met three/four very likable, although disposable, characters. I am saying this upfront but I do think at least one of them will die. Anyway, love from first sight, especially Kwame.........*crosses fingers silently*

Welp...what are your thoughts, E? I hate the main heroine.XDD She is very close-minded, judges others based on their blood instead of actions, thinks only about herself with little disregard towards others (the author was trying to make us feel bad for her after she fucked up...didn't work lol). I keep thinking about ATLA, lots of similarities. Cliche at times. Chapters 2-4 were bad. Picks up after though thankfully.

The first chapter felt like coming back home... I love fantasy like this and I kinda missed reading them. I can also see why people say it's like Avatar The Last Airbender, because it kinda is. And I am enjoying it so far~
