Its 1690 and this book is off to a good start. Doro appears to be one of the main characters in this dense book and he still has many mysteries to him. I feel that he will be a great antagonist that the reader(myself)can't help but love. Its as though you hate him but the book wouldn't be as spectacular without him. So, I can't wait to see where this story goes because the start off is very interesting and I think

So as I stated in my last update Doro is a very mysterious character.As I was reading I found out that he did buisness with slave traders. Right now Im not sure what to make of this because it says alot. First off it says that he knows English and is powerful enough for the slave traders to want to keep away from him. It makes me think what other things is he capable of. Im kind of scared for his companion Anyanwu.
