I've had this book for a few years and thought it would be hot. I've never liked most mainstream porn - I find it too contrived and mechanical. I thought this book might be an inside look at those that perform in the business. Its a little dry, not very humorous and hard for me to read for any length of time.

This book is fairly boring and I flip through it to kill time occasionally. Most of the "confessions" sound to me like advertising and porn industry BS. I also believe that "hottest" is subjective as well.

I have always been interested in the women performers of porn. More from the psychological aspect than the prurient. What drives a woman to join the porn industry? This book has some older women, but not quite the "grand dames" (open to debate of course) of early porn. The cocaine-fueled '80s porn is so different from the direct-to-consumer bespoke porn tearing up the internet channels today. Nice change in reading.
