I believe that Tom Robinson will be proven innocent in his appeal to the higher courts. I believe this will happen because all the evidence points towards Tom Robinson needing justice and this would be a perfect ending to the book. I think that since Atticus states that this isn’t even close to over, he believes they are very likely to win the court case.

In To Kill A Mockingbird, the setting takes place in an old town called Maycomb during the 1930s. This book takes place during the Great Depression. The Great Depression greatly influences the wealth of the characters. Many families in Maycomb have little money, since many families are farmers, and the farmers have no money. Since the farmers have no money, the specialists can not make money.
