The author’s father, Vladek, seems to be a rough, smart, and slightly narcissistic. He seems to think he can do no wrong as well. He’d probably say he’s “handsome.” A big factor for his identity could be his Jewish heritage, which is the reason he was in a concentration camp. Overall, this is how I would breifly describe Art’s dad.
