I think that Mr. Ewell is going to kill Atticus after the verdict because Tom Robinson will probably win. Mr. Ewell may get arrested for beating his daughter and then might stir up anger and he will take it out on Atticus. He may try to kill Atticus as a sign of revenge.

To Kill a Mockingbird takes place in an old town called Maycomb. This book takes place in the 1930’s. Maycomb is a rainy town that would heat up stupendously, it was in the midst of Alabama, and grass would even grow on the sidewalks. Since Maycomb is a small city everyone mostly knows each other so that can take a huge toll on the story. This is a very quite town, with plantations, diners, and early-birds
