Starr is at Chris's house when she gets a call from seven that Devante is missing and that he hasn't been seen in a good amount of time. Seven picks up Starr and Chris tags along and when they find out where Devante is at they think he is already dead.

While at Sevens graduation party everybody is having a good time until they find out that Lesha Sevens real mom is coming over. Once Lesha gets there she gets pissed that she wasn't invited but Seven goes off on her

Starr and Seven got into a fight at school with Hailey and her brother after she was insulting Khalil and calling him a drug dealer and that he deserved to die which was the cause of the fight.

Starr is told that they need photos of her and Mrs. Carey for camera but she has trouble doing it because of how nervous she is. Once the interview starts Starr reveals that Khalil only sold drugs to protect his mom from the biggest drug dealer which leaves people in shock.

Maverick decided to help out Devante because apparently, he was in some sort of trouble but when Maverick finds out kings after him he moves him elsewhere

When driving Maverick starts to listen to some Tupac and starts to question Starr on what THUG life means to her. He starts asking what is her thoughts on what Tupac is trying to say by THUG and how it affects her community. Maverick explains that people like them the black community needs to speak up to show that they will not take any more of what they have to go through.

Starr and her mom are heading back from uncle Carlos house and on the way there is a roadblock that police are expecting people to show ID in order to get in Garden Heights and that gets Starr really nervous. Once they get home Maverick is waiting there and offers Starr to watch the Harry Potter movies.

Starr and her family have just come back from Khalil's funeral and everything starts to turn bad because people got mad when they found out that Khalil was unarmed in the time of the murder and that caused people to start rioting and things just got out of hand.

Starr had just done the interview with the detectives and now the only thing that she can think about at the moment is Khalil's funeral

Starr and Khalil leave the party after there was a shooting and he takes Starr back to his ride where he offers to take her back home. While they are talking Khalil bumps some Tupac and explains to Starr how he is relevant.
