I'm dying for this to come out. My grandfather came over from Czechoslovakia and the story sounds awesome.

Oh, that's cool!At the time period in which this was set, (1935), in Czechoslovakia the Germans are already forming groups with Nazi leanings. The protagonist keeps seeing people wearing certain pins that denote German pride.
So far, (which admittedly isn't much), this is really good.

I think he came over in 1909, so a little before that, but still an interesting and volatile time period.
