Right now, Milo, Humbug, and Tock are talking to a bird that always misinterprets everything they say.

This book is fantasy because the in the beginning of the book, it states that Milo drove into a time machine to get into this world. At this time, no one has ever invented a time machine.

Right now, the mathematician is explaining why numbers are so important in life.

1) why do the people Milo meet all have to leave and they can’t stay with him throughout the whole journey?

2) why does Milo not understand simple concepts but he understands more complex things?

“The shore line was peaceful and flat, and the calm sea bumped it playfully along the sandy beach. In the distance a beautiful island covered with palm trees and flowers beckoned invitingly from the sparkling water.” (Pg. 164 - 165) To me this is the important line becuase it sets the scene from Silent Valley to the road to Didgitopolis.

Right now, Milo unlocked all the sounds for the people of Silent Valley. He is now on his way to Didgitopolis.

Currently, Milo is conducting the orchestra that creates all the color in the world. However, all the colors started to get mixed up and he is frantically trying to fix his mistake.

I really like this style of writing because Norton Juster brings a lot of humor into the book. He also describes the setting very well. And with that, I didn’t find anything I dislike about the book.

Right now, Milo and Tock have finally reached Dictionopolis. According to the picture, Dictionopolis looks like a castle.

I predict that they both won’t be allowed into the castle since they don’t have a good reason to enter, especially if it’s there is royalty inside.
