Finished. Found this book to be an easy read. The premise was good and having worked in the social work field felt it was pretty realistic in its portrayal. Knowing this was a Christian read I expected that influence, but still thought there were too many scriptures quoted. Otherwise it was a pretty good book, especially for a first novel. 3 stars

a little more scripture reading in this book than I like, b ut it is a Christian novel. I do like the authors style and I am enjoying the characters and plot. Overall, so far, a good read.
