omG this book is SO well written!! And tons going on!! I downloaded the 1st book in this series-the Lavender road because this book is really that good!! I love the history and the stories of each of the characters. Talk about true grit people. Makes our times look like a cake walk compared to what they endured back in 1941-1943.
