Winston isn’t like everyone else. He sees the world differently and doesn’t fall into order like the rest of the people. He does certain things like writing in his diary which are seen as unspeakable things, but most importantly he doesn’t see these things as unspeakable or bad things.

I chose to read this book as friends had recommended it and it seemed interesting, my dad had also said it was a very good book. So far I’m enjoying the book and I like the ambiance of it. I do think it is living up to my expectations as I didn’t really know what to expect when I got the book and so far I’m enjoying it.
