Clary is a strong, confident girl who wants to save her mother in Iris. I also see her as a little stubborn, because she doesn’t listen to her friends that are trying to warn her. She might see herself as capable, confident, and versatile. Her mother is in trouble, and this most greatly affects her identity.

I chose this book because it had an interesting title and it looked like an adventure. I like the book so far, I feel like it is about to get really interesting. So far, it has lived up to my expectations because I want to keep reading.
