Leo (the main character) thought about how he would get his gold nugget back, “And sure enough, sometime in the middle of the night, Leo had come up with a plan.” (Page 27) This quote was significant because it told the reader that the main character somehow was going to get his gold nugget from a thief, hinting towards disguise from earlier. The whole first part of the book was about how significant the gold was.

Morris is the most interesting character because the way Leo describes him initially seems annoying, however, in the end, he is not what he is described as. When you actually learn him, he is a kind, caring character.
