"Thus, I conclude that legalizing same-sex marriage, turning a personal commitment into a license regulable and enforceable by the state, would extend an evil greater than any of the unjust inequalities that it would remedy. LGBTs are better off on the whole without that option and its consequent pressures. It would be better to agitate for the abolition of marriage altogether."
