Finished 'Lovecraft Country', the titular first story or chapter of the book. The resolution did feel a little rushed, but there is more to come still which hopefully will tie back at least a little.

Starting to get into the meat of the story. Our characterrs are finally in 'Ardham', a place with sinister overtones and threats both from a probable lynchmob in the distance as well as the town of 'Adamites' which conjure feelings of Innsmouth which are surely intentional and appear to have a view of Christianity that excludes the concept of original sin (or perhaps any sin?).
