Hahaha...I was thinking that too. It's a compelling book to read. This book has made a significant contribution to the discussion of race in America. I think it's a mistake to ignore his perspective, whether or not one agrees with him. Personally, I love how he has chosen to tell his story by way of a letter to his teenage son. I find myself thinking through when and how I too will talk to my daughters about the problem and solution of fear and bigotry as I see it.
