Anyone have a favorite romance novel published in the 20th or 21st century? I have to read one for my senior seminar class and I have a couple of ideas, but I'd like to read a new book for this! When I search "popular romance novels" from this century and last, all that seem to come up are ones that are kinda...dirty-ish... So recommend some faves, please & thanks!!

Lighten Our Darkness, by Sarah Brazytis; Widow's Heart, by Willowy Whisper; Beyond Her Calling, by Kellyn Roth, anything by Sarah Sundin or Kate Breslin, or Made to Last by Melissa Tagg. The last one is set in a contemporary setting; all the others are also historical fiction.
