First story is a DNF. A great premise. Hero was the beauty and she was okay. He was wounded and scarred at Waterloo and she is now a beauty. Almost every page lamented he is unworthy. I don't have that bad of memory. Stopped reading because she is visited by the man she almost married, thinking Hawk was dead, and asks him to teach her how to seduce Hawk. He and Hawk are near enemies. Could it get any more stupid?
