Jim Korkis wrote an entire book about the history of The Song of South. In his entry, titled: Joel Chandler Harris, he is very indifferent towards his opinion of the Disney Company & the re-release of Song of The South. Makes you wonder if his book: Who's Afraid of the Song of the South? was just to "sale" more books.

Good to know. In Minnie's kitchen, the Cheesemore refrigerator has a recipe for 'Minnie's Famous Chewy Cheesy Chip Cookies' based on a real chocolate chip cookie recipe. I looked online and others say they are yummy cookies (just don't use the semi-sharp cheddar cheese chips).
