Thoughts:
(1) I'm shocked how good this is!
(2) Lots of violence, lots of nudity.
(3) There's texture in the art. Upon close inspection, it's colored using pointillism.
(4) This omnibus has both volumes of the series. It's a shame I read it this way because Vol. 1 would have been my first five-star book this year. I hope Vol. 2 keeps it that way.

Thoughts:
(1) Yeah... Volume 2 will not be 5-stars.
(2) Apparently, between Volumes 1 and 2, the 2016 US Presidential campaign happened, and the main villain is now quite blatantly Donald Trump, complete with catch-phrases and oafish vulgarity. I'm fine with politics in my books, but I dislike mean-spirited, partisan mockery. That's all I'll say.

Thoughts:
(1) Sticking with Rick Remender, but jumping eras and genres from a coming-of-age 1980s teen drama to a cyberpunk dystopian future.
(2) I’m only familiar with Sean Murphy from Batman: White Knight, but I like his work, so I’m excited for this.
(3) Recovering from my recent '80s binge. It lingers still... I have a-ha on the brain.
